1, the number of fiber cores: 2 cores, 4 cores, 6 cores, 8 cores, 12 cores, or even more, to meet the needs of different communication capacity

2, reinforcement: high-strength galvanized steel wire or aramid fiber. The diameter of the steel wire is usually between 0.8-1.2mm, which can provide greater tensile strength; aramid fiber generally exists in the form of multiple strands of twisted, to ensure that the cable will not be easily pulled when subjected to tension.

3, sheath: polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath, the thickness of the sheath is generally between 1.5-2.5mm, which can effectively protect the internal structure, and has flame retardant, wear-resistant, moisture-proof and other properties.

1, attenuation constant: at 1310nm wavelength, the attenuation constant of single-mode fiber is generally not more than 0.36dB/km; at 1550nm

2, tensile performance: cable can withstand a certain tensile force, different core numbers and specifications of cable tensile force requirements are different, short-term tensile force can reach 1500 - 3000N, long-term tensile force can reach 600 - 1500N.

3, bending performance: bending radius has certain requirements, static bending radius is generally not less than 10 times the outer diameter of the cable, dynamic bending radius is generally not less than 20 times the outer diameter of the cable. Such as 4-core MGXTSV mining cable, assuming an outer diameter of 10mm, its static bending radius should not be less than 100mm, dynamic bending radius should not be less than 200mm, in order to avoid excessive bending caused by increased fiber loss or even fracture.

4, flattening performance: under a certain pressure, the cable should be able to work normally. Usually requires the cable under pressure of 3000-5000N/100mm, the fiber attenuation change does not exceed the specified value to ensure the reliability of the cable when it is squeezed
